Hi Stany,
What about the red cast of the skin tones? After 6000 photos with the D7000, I sold it to get back a D200, because I shoot mostly portraits.
Cheers,
Dan

Re: US West Coast trip
To be honest very small amount of PP, and this was done in.... picnik (the flash editor from flickr.com). The whole credits go to my nikon's D200 colors (amazing CCD sensor output, beats out any new CMOS DX 12mp sensor camera) and to my polarizer (nikon CP-L II).

US West Coast trip
Only landscapes here, taken with the D200 and the 16-85mm, with a circular polarizer Nikon C-PL II filter, having very little to none post-processing adjustments: 1. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4008/4663229419_2dfc6f5278_b.jpg 2. http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1291/4663456432_a941c96359_b.jpg 3. ...

Re: Some from Disney Paris...
Nice shots! Here are my comments: the 2nd seems to have an odd white balance, the 5th seems to be a little over exposed, the 6th nice composition and excellent sharpness!!, the 7th the guy is too much centered, I would have loved to seem what he had on the table, the 9th would gain from a d-lightnin...

Re: Nature stuff, moving subjects, action photos
Thank-you all for your comments, is there a way to edit the previous post so that I put the larger size pictures? In the mean-time, some other photos that I am happy to share with you: 9. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2665/3915033737_8e456c1e7e_b.jpg 10. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2652/41371667...

Nature stuff, moving subjects, action photos
Hi, This would be my first post with pictures on the forum, so please be kind ;) The pictures are very slightly post-processed, mostly crops and very small adjustments of contrast, saturation, exposure, etc. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4027/4526389727_1eafc87bfd.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com...

Hi Stany,
Would it be possible to measure the barrel distorsion at 16mm, it seems pretty high to me, never seen so much distorsion on a Nikon lens before...
Thanks,
Dan

Re: What is your favorite pocket camera ?
My favorite pocket camera is a Olympus E-420 with a 25mm f/2.8 pancake lens. I even took it in a pocket of my jacket when skiing, this winter. It is far from a perfect camera, but it can produce a nice bokeh and has a very versatile (50mm 24x36 equivalent) standard lens. Here are some shots: http://...
