NIKKOR Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3-small bird with 100% crops

From today, captured handheld and wide open (F6.3) a small bird in my gardenfrom approx 10 mtrs  with the Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3. Pictures were taken in a shadow area so iso is 2200 & 2500, which results is strong softening because of in-camera noise reduction. I did a similar test at the same time ...

Dragonflies in flight with Nikon Z7...

While I was busy taken pictures of my dogs in action, a dragonfly showed up above me. Z7 with my 70-300 P kept focus perfectly for 6 images http://www.myphotogallery.name/Z/20190907-AL7_-6im.JPG The scene of one of the shots... http://www.myphotogallery.name/Z/20190907-AL7_8109-1000px.JPG And a crop...

Dragonfly close up with NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f4 S

The NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f4 S´close focus ability combined with the Z7´46 Mp and outstanding IQ makes it compete with macro lens quality. Underneath sample is as it comes straight OOC while using Nikon View NX-D to convert my NEF to jpeg. The scene (resized to 1000px longest side): http://www.myphotogal...

Re: Settings for BIF with Z-Bif en z6 met 500mm PF instellin

Re: Nikon D70S as a beginner/amateur camera?

For someone who registered from Roubaix, France, using $ currency and writing "gratis" seems somewhere between funny and suspicious. ;)
And Yes , a D70s with 18-55 for US$ 55 seems like a good deal.

I love the AF-P NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6E ED VR

I love the AF-P NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6E ED VR. It's compact, lightweight, fast focusing, very sharp, works like a charm on Nikon Z and it is relative inexpensive. The scene resized to 1000 px longest side: http://www.myphotogallery.name/stany/AL7_4508-1000px.jpg and a 100% crop from an unprocesse...

Birds and Dolphins in flight with Nikon Z7 & 70-300 AF-P

An incredible bunch of negative nonsense has been spread on the internet about Nikon Z' autofocus, more specific about Z' AF on moving subjects and for action photography. Those Nikon' Z bashers are simply wrong... TMHO Nikon Z' AF is excellent but very different in use compared to DSLR 'AF. Thom Ho...
