Vogels in vlucht met een 28-300 AF-S VR kan een beetje vreemd klinken maar het lukte beter dan verwacht.
Ik verkies deze polyvalente en relatief lichte lens boven zware specifieke lenzen voor op reis.

I was trying panning this fast flying bird, which gives a strange background/bokeh

Thanks for your positive critical comments.
You're totally right about this one being the least sharp. The bird was flying fast which obliged panning and the AF of this lens couldn't keep up I guess.
But I like the picture...

J'ai moi-même un D800+28-300 et je l'ai utilisé en Antarctique...
J'avais aussi le D3s+14-24!
Mais le tout était trop lourd! 'too heavy'!
