Related to my Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 & Z 70-200 f2.8 S user reviews I made some moon shots with both lenses while using the same settings.
I first selected the sharpest out of 3 images made with each lens.
Both pictures were taken on a tripod, NEF set(vivid basic setting), conversion to jpeg with Nikon Capture NX-D. No sharpening or post-processing was applied.
Both 100% crops + the Exif pasted in one image with PS to make comparison easier.

Which image is the sharper one, I leave upon your judgment.

  200mm focal is not the same for both lenses, I measured a 3,5% difference in image size of the moon, the 24-200 with the biggest output. So whether the 24-200 is 24-207mm or the 70-200 is 70-193mm or something in between.
