Hi everyone... (and thanks Stany for hosting the forum)

I was over on DPR for ten years but find it more and more an uncomfortable place. (well.. on the D7000 forum anyway)

Hopefully I can both learn and contribute, here..

a little photogrpahic equipment history:
Praktica MTL 3
Nikon EM
Contax 139
Minolta 7000
Nikon F3T
Nikon F80
Olympus C3000
Fuji S2
Nikon D200/300/700 and now D7000..and some lenses this is over 37 years!!! Phography has never been 'cheap' hobby ... not even with digital!

Still have a Nikon F75.. incredible value/spec.still like film for some things..

For technical discussions my husband (Stany) and his forum friends are better choises to communicate with...

In relation to photography and this website I limit myself with my aging Fuji F10 and paying the bills to keep this forum run...

Hi Alan. Welcome; nice to meet you here too.
It seems we have the same camera history: I started also 37 years ago with a Praktica, a LTL (same as a MTL3), had a Minolta 7000, a Fuji S2 and a Nikon 7000 (and a some other cameras, to be more specific, 24 other ones in total)
