Hi everyone
Just joined the other day and Stany wanted me to do a brief introduction.
I have been into photography for over 30 years, went to Brooks Institute in 1981
Living in Arizona now after spending the past 19 years in Hawaii.
I shoot landscape now with a D700, Nikon PC-E24,45, and 85mm lenses plus I have the 14-24mm
My specialty though is large format ink jet printing which I have been doing for the past 10 years.
I owned my own Fine Art / Giclee printing business in Hawaii for 10 years until the economy tanked here in the US last year.
I have printed with Epsons, Canon's and now have an HP Z3200 PS printer. I also owned a BetterLight scan back which I used to scan all the original art with.
I am also very fluent in color management.

Looking forward on learning some new things here.

Steven

welcome.... and please post some examples of your work. I am particularly interested in PC/Tilt shift lenses applications.

Since I am new here, where is the best place to start posting images?
Thanks
Steven

The best and easiest way to include pictures in a post is to host the pictures on a site (your own website, flickr, whatever) and to link the picture to your post:

just put the address between img markers (the img button appears when you are editing a post)

the message will look like this:

[ i m g ] h t t p : w w w . xxxxxxxxx/yyyyy.jpg [ / i m g ]

I have added spaces so that nothing gets interpreted. I hope this gives you a good idea.

An example:
the address of one of my pics:
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3460/378 ... 9f69_b.jpg
and the same between the IMG markers

Welcome on our forum Steve. I'm happy to see somebody with much experience with printing and printers. Looking foreward to read your findings about the comparison between printing a D3X and a D3 file...

Posting a picture on our forum is explained here: http://www.fotografie.fr/fotoforum/view ... ?f=53&t=16, but I saw Guy explained already to you.

Hi Kuau, welcome to the board. It´s great to finally have a user who also owns the PC-E 45 like me.
I´m looking forward to seeing your images!
