Hi, I 'm Leen Koper

Just like Stany, I spend too much time -when I had time- on various forums and in 2008, when I 'm retired (at the age of 60) possibly more, although I have promised myself to spend more time on photography.
I am, at the moment still, a professional high street photographer in the beautiful mediaval town of Zierikzee in the south western delta of the Netherlands, specialising in portraiture (mainly environmetal) and weddings. Next to my professional photography I'm starting to take up again photography as a hobby.
i hope to meet you often here.

Hi Leen,

great to meet you here, I know you from the Fuji forum of depreview (one of the few places I like on the site).
I always appreciate your excellent photography and pp skills!
Truly a master ...

Pam

I am flattered by your comments.
Pam and Stany, I didnot know you knew so much about my work; Guy, I 'll try to post some images. The most recent images are on my blog http://www.zeelandnet.nl/weblog/data/po ... p?pagina=1. My website should be updated: the last time I had it done was a few years ago....

I joined this forum as I saw Dirk Vermeirre was on it. I do know him personally and estimate him very highly, both as a person and as a photographer. It is a pity I haven't had time to visit his exhibition in Antwerp and, above all, to keep in touch. Next year I will try to renew my contacts I have lost over the years because I didnot have time; I've just been working and working and working..

I plan to visit Stany and Dirk around 8-10 of March, so maybe we could meet some place in Belgium?

Hi Leen,

I'm Lil Judd & I just joined the forum. Stany sent me a few introductions & I finally had time to react to them.

I have not been to the Netherlands in forever. Last time I was there was well over 40 years ago. maybe next time I go back to Europe I'll get a chance to. I look forward to seeing your photos from the Netherlands.

Lil :-)

Lil, make sure you come to Europe, as soon as you can.
This would be a great occasion to set up a forum´s meeting!

I don't know why but my answer to your invitation for 8-19 of March has disappeared. But I'll accept! It might be a good idea to meet in the Antwerp cafe "De Kongo", well known to everyone in the neigbourhood and -as far as I know- visited rather often by Dirk and friends. We could also visit the wonderful photography museum just across the road, if I remember well.
It would make a great meeting of the people on the forum!

Hi Leen,

That would be great if you also would come. And you are right it's 'Entrepot du Congo' and across is the Photo Museum. Hope to see you.

Warm regards,

Dirk
