Introducing myself.

Hi my name is Lil Judd. I live in the Los Angeles area, but was born in Stockholm, Sweden. I started photographing at a tender age with a Kodak Instamatic I bought with my winnings at Bingo. At the age of 20 I bought my first slr camera, a Nikon FM. That started my love for Nikon cameras & my love for photography grew. My dream was wildlife photography in Africa. Many years later, actually just a little more than three years ago, I bought a Nikon D200. I had not worked with an slr camera for many years. Being a mom made P&S cameras my life for a while. I had not ever worked with a dslr so for my first two years I did a lot of experimenting & just learning working with a dslr. Just about a year ago I bought a D300. At about the same time I ended up starting a photography group with two other D300 shooters. That & getting my hands on lenses with which I can shoot that which I love - wildlife primarily - & landscape, has made this my first year out shooting that which I've dreamed of shooting since I was very young. Going to Africa on photo safari is still far off..... But I'm having fun.
Presently I own a D200, a D300, a N90s Nikon Film camera & I expect a mint Nikon FM film camera to show up in the mail any day now. I lost the two I owned as a young woman. They were both stolen. I located a mint black Nikon FM on eBay & just want it for nostalgic reasons. I have a 50mm AiS MF f/1.2 which I will use with it.
