What will be sRAW? Never saw it before.

sRaw are small raw files -kind of-, it exists already long time in Canon dslr and even Kodak 14n had that kind of files I believe. Meaning is to have a flexible file for PP that is smaller than a normal RAW file.
sRaw does not have the same IQ and PP possibilities as a normal Raw file has though.
Apparently the size isn't that much smaller, while quality is significantly inferior...

If I understand well, thanks to the smaller size it might be extremely favourable for about 60% of the camera owners, that is the sports shooters, because it might be written in a little less time.....
For other purposes it would be completely useless, given the low cost of memory cards.
