I agree with you about the Sony, very tempting indeed.
A couple of weeks ago I posted the (I guess intentionally leaked-) A850 manual on our forum, don't know if you saw this...

I would be interested too. A pity that Sony cannot apply the same image processing as Nikon because they would have a killer camera. And they also have to work on their lenses line up, because they could steal quite some market share in the future...

After the latest rumours, the 7D would be a APS sensor... A quite unlogic name in the Canon lineup...
More pixels on a small sensor? New technology for noise reduction?(back lit sensor)
