D3100 and several new lenses to be released by Nikon

As reported on several websites apparantly Nikon is going to release several new products next thursday, august 19th.
One DSLR, -the D3100-, and 4 lenses...

The info seems to be leaked in a German magazine Foto Digital. I begged Pamela this afternoon to go out and buy a copy of this magazine to inform us more...

A Nikon D3100 with very interesting specifications(specs copied from nikonrumors.com):
•14 MP CMOS Sensor (23.2 x 15.5 mm)
•Live View
•3 inch Display
•100 – 12800 ISO
•ISO setting manual or automatic
•11 AF points
•full HD Video (1920 x 1080)
•price 650 €
•new EXPEED2 processor
•improved objects recognition for the AF control
•improved in-camera menu
•user can save picture profiles

Next to a very interesting D3000 successor- D3100-, there seem to be 4 new lenses coming...
The 24-120AF-S VR, 28-300 F3.5-5.6 and Nikkor AF-S 85/1,4 G for both FX and DX next to Nikkor AF-S DX 55-300/4,5-5,6 G ED VR for DX.
I am particulary interested in the 28-300VR if it isn't too heavy as a perfect walk around lens...

Yes, that was the edition they had there, obviously the latest edition has not arrived ... at least not in that shop.
