Great clarity Stany, were you using a flash as well?

Hi James,
Flash was only used for the second one. Have much more frog pictures though, -still sorting out-, all taken handhold and ALL tacksharp.
I simply don't get all the complains on the D7000' AF system what you read on Dpreview. I can hardly noctice any difference with my D3, with exception for 3D tracking, a feature I barely use. D7000' AF is simply fantastic. I think many people simply don't know what they are doing with such a high density sensor cam, or they don't realise that AF-fine tuning exists... My wife and daugther -both very unexperienced users-, were using my D7000 for approx 50 shots, 40 were OOF, 5 OK and 5 sharp. I made a little over 900 pics, 2 were OOF, approx 300 OK and 600 tacksharp... ;)
Further more and in relation to D7000' AF a lot is depending on the lens quality. The pictures that I consider as OK were mostly taken with the 16-85, a lens that I don't value too high and which I consider as terribly overpriced. Depending on what D800 or D4 will make me decide, and if D7000 would remain my main camera, I'll go for a 17-55 F2.8. If there will be a D800 or D4, I'm not going to spend 1300 for a DX lens though...
