A picture I took with 105AF-S VR +TC-20 E III on D800E...

:!: No sharpening has been applied to the underneath images

A screenshot of the AF area as seen in NikonViewNX:

Detail is still there... :D Without any post processing or supplementary noise reduction. Conversion from NEF done is NX2.
