Hi David,
Thanks for your kind comment.
About the picture: handhold /Manual mode/ iso 500; 1/1250 sec/ F16 / SB800 straight without diffuser.
For these kind of shots I use manual mode. I decide iso according to lighting condition and I search, playing with aperture until I nearly underexpose. This way I avoid clipped regions on the subject.
kindest regards,

Stany

Hello Stany,

Very nice shots, good sharpness. Now I know your camera settings, what lens and PP did you use?

Greetings, Rudy

Hi Rudy,
Thanks for your kind comment.
PP? what's that? I don't know anything about postprocessing as you know, don't like it too much neither, so I have to do it right in the camera, like those days with film...
What I did though is convert my RAW image to 16-bit TIF(for my collection and print) in Capture NX2 and to JPEG for the web.
kindest regards,

Stany

Incredible that details. Very beautiful.
Congratulations.
Passioned by beautiful pictures, not a very active photographer though...
Regards,
Vincent

PS I use google translate a lot to write better English. So, if mistake, I's google, not me. ;)
