- I was updating Capture NX2.2.5 to 2.2.6
- License key was asked. No problem I thought, I bought NX1 officially from a Nikon dealer in the sealed package and Nikon NX2 upgrade from Nikon internet store
- I get a mesage that I have to buy "a real" license.
- Thought I made a mistake with entering the key...
-Second try, third try, getting nervous... 10th try...
- Same message... I feel accused from using illegal software while I paid full price for the original in a sealed package at a Nikon dealer...
- I tried to reinstall 2.2.5...
- Same message, same misery...
- Lost my beloved NX2 program completely.
- I'm VERY angry!!!

Just phoned with Nikon Support in Belgium...
I just phoned with Nikon support in Belgium.
Support assistent was extremely friendly, despite my frustration and anger.
They know the problem. Nikon Japan reduced the number of re-installs to limit illegal use of their software.
I explained that I did several complete re-installs in the early days of Win 64 bit sytem due to incompatibility problems of several software and before the Capture NX software became 64-bit compatible (2.2.4).
I have to send a picture by mail of my original CD with my original licence number (original paper) and the invoice of my NX1 license purchase, what I did.
They promised me to fix the problem as soon as possible...
Hope it won't take days before they solve this problems. NX2 is my exclusive and my prefered workfloor for NEF conversion and image post processing.

Problems solved.
2 hours after I contacted Nikon support Belgium by phone and email while providing them a picture of my original CD, license key and invoice of my NX1 license purchase, they send me an email with a new product key.
Still have to re-install and run a test but I'm convinced the problem is solved.
Thank you Nikon.
