D800, some portraits at high iso straight out of the camera

My wife picked up my D800 at Art & Craft in Ghent (Belgium) this afternoon and after the initial "study" of this nice camera I made some occasional portraits at (very) high iso.
Pictures were captured in NEF and converted without any post processing in Nikon View NX2.3.0 (64-bit) to jpegs 1024px longest side and high quality.

Please notice that:
Of course I normally don't make portraits at iso 6400 to 25600 but this was done as a test to know what I can expect with D800 at (very)high iso.

Pictures were taken with 50mm F1.4, WB was set to AWB, A(perture), AF-S. picture style was set to standard (default setting out of the box)

It is incredible to see how much cameras have improved in just a few years! Just compare these results at ISO 25600 with a Fuji S2 of just only 10 years ago at ISO 800 and you notice the difference all ready.
We used to buy film of ISO 800 max and have it processed; nowadays we buy cameras instead. Despite the costs of the camera it is much cheaper and much better and more versatile too. These are incredible times.
