A close up of a little hoverfly. The picture was a bit underexposed but I like it.
The picture was taken in RAW, I changed "standard" picture style to "vivid" in pp. ADL set to "normal" in PP to compensate for initial underexposure.
D800 with 105 AF-S VR at iso 500,handhold, 1/500sec F13, matrix metering.

Until now, -and after approx 500 pictures with all kind of lenses and lens/TC combinations-, what pleases me the most about the D800 is the AF speed and precision(see another topic with sample about the D800' AF precision in extreme use here).
