distortion on nikon d7000

distortion on nikon d7000

On iso 4000 a lot off distortion,is this normal?
I bought the D7000 was THE camera for goo pictures with high iso.

I think you mean noise while distorsion is lens and not iso related.
D7000 is very good at high iso if you compare with other DX format cams, but FX(D700 and others) are significantly better.
The amount of noise depends also on how accurate exposure was. If you slightly underexpose, the result might look noisy... In certain situations spot metering may be the way to go, in other circumstances matrix will result in less noise. Check your camera manual about "exposure".
About noise and high iso, personally I avoid to go over iso 3200, even with D700 or D800, but that's just me... ;)
