D3 and HDR
One of the most beautiful buildings in Breskens (Holland), named ¨Port Scaldis¨. Nikkor 80-400mm, HDR from 3 exposures.

Very nice capture and does look very natural (unlike some HDR images that resemble paintings).
I might reduce the color cast in the water
From the ocean to the sky the blue is hard to discern and make the horizon a bit odd looking. Maybe mask and desaturate the water. Just opinions - great capture. I bet with the D3 you could almost get that with one exposure. Were the shots -2, 0, +2 exp?

The shots were -1,0,+1. I tried the HDR first and liked the deep blue color a lot. I guess you´re right that with one exposure I could have almost the same result.
