I can swap my 18-200mm VR for 1 Nikkor AF 24-85 f/2.8-4 IF-ED and 1 Nikkor AF-S DX VR 55-200 f/4-5.6G IF-ED
Is this a good deal?

Perhaps (I think) you will miss the wide angle while 24mm on DX is like 36mm field of view of a FX or film cam...
A 16-85DX lens is a much better choice, eventually combined with the 55-200...
Kindest regards,
Stany

No, I don't think so. The 24-85 is an older type of lens and has only about one stop more than the the 18-200 you own now. And, two things are more important, you win extra wide angle space and you have one lens that you can use almost always and everywhere without changing lenses.
Just like myself, I bought myself a Tamron 18-270 and now hardly use anything else, although I do own about 10 other lenses.
