Last week we went to the Lago Maggiora both at the Swiss and Italian side.
In Locarno we were visiting "la falconeria Locarno". It was an exciting experience.

Some pictures... All taken with D800e and 28-300mm.

 You can find more pictures of the Locarno falconeria in this topic.
 :!: And there is another related topic with only birds in flight, all taken at this occasion in falconeria Locarno with D800e and 28-300 AF-S VR

BIF with 28-300 AF-S VR may sound strange, but it works better than I expected...

Amazing sharpness for what is considered as a compromise lens.

Heb twee vragen, waarom geen VR gebruikt? Had je een statief?
En welk merk lens 28-300 AF-S VR gebruikte je? Best mogelijk dat het een Nikkorlens is!

Excellent pictures and details. The 28-300VR is among the best 'consumer grade' lenses.
