Hello from a new D810 user

Post by hassiman »

Hi,

Long time Nikon Film ( F, F2, F3 ) user and after an abortive encounter with a D600 I am back with a new D810 which I love.
Nikon 24-120 F4 VR and a stupendous 18-35mm G. Still learning about this camera. So far I really like it!

Good evening!
I'm curious about your findings with the new 18-35G
Sample images would be very appreciated.

Once I figure out how to post an image it will b my pleasure.
I am stunned by how good this lens is... though DXO has rated it better that the far more expensive 16-35mm F4 VR.
They are correct. It is superb. Check out the 18-35mm user group on Flickr
