First problem with Nikon D500

Post by Stany Buyle »

I just discovered and experienced a little (?) problem with my D500 on day 6    :?

The small rubber cover between the SD/XQD card door and body just fell off without doing anything more than opening the card door...
This isn't probably a big problem if you stay indoors, but it might be a big problem if you shoot in the rain...
It is difficult to put/push it back...

I will contact procirep Brussels about this. Curious about the reaction...

Kindest regards,
Stany

Very boring under while. Every time I open my card door it falls off now.
It will take less than a day that the rubber cover will be lost somewhere, quite difficult to find back when you're walking trough the fields...

I hope Nikon provides a solution very soon while I fear sincere electronic damage once a drop of water would enter there.
