Nikon lens VR setting on tripod

Postby Stany Buyle » Tue 16 May 2017 16:02

Yesterday I had an interesting conversation with the NPS responsible of Nikon Belgium about the lens VR setting while used tripod.
With the very first VR lenses like the 80-400 VR (non-AF-S) you have to swtich off the VR setting.

According to Maarten, with the nikkor 200-500, the best setting while photographing action on tripod is "Sport".
