This may sound negative, but it isn't meant that way.
Who needs about 40 mpx in a camera? I happen to know the answer: only a very few professionals. The rest, of course, will be sold to amateurs (usually not the best ) who can go on pixel peeping. Nobody is able to see the difference between a 12mpx print and a 24 mpx one when printed at 24 inch.
But will this group of amateurs be large enough to produce a camera for?

Well, I guess, it´s progress. So 40 Mpix will come after all.
But what I wonder is, how is this translucent technology going to perform.
Do we lose light with it? Anyone has such a Sony DLSR?
