Something remarkable I noticed in my G6

Post by Leen Koper »

Something I noticed immediately in my Panasonic G6, but I suppose it works the same way with every electronic viewfinder.
When I dial in exposure compensation it shows in my viewfinder which becomes lighter or darker, depending on the compensation. This is something I -of course- always missed in my Nikons and other cameras. Moreover, the dial sits in a logical place, just behind the release knob. A compliment to the constructors of Panasonic.
This is a big advantage of these kind of cameras that will convince a lot of photographers. Now you can see immediately how much compensation to dial in.

One of the reasons that makes me think the future of serious -and even professional- cameras will be mirrorless.
