Hello,
My first posting with pictures.
I'm curious what you think.
During our summer holidays in the Pyrenees mountains we visited the Pic du Midi de Bigorre observatory.
The build of this observatory started in 1880 on the 2877meter high mountain.
In the observatory the Universe is studied and also meteorological surrey is executed.
It can only be reached with a cable cart and this ride takes half an hour in 2 stages.
Greets, Gino

Re: Pic du Midi de Bigorre Observatory
What an interesting building! I think I can spot the 1880 part and then it´s built with concrete and aluminum ...
What camera and lens did you use?

Re: Pic du Midi de Bigorre Observatory
I used my trusty D3s in combination with 14-24mm, 24-70mm and my 200mm f2 for picture number 2.
Thanks for you message.
