In May and June I went to Danmark and Norway for five weeks. A friend of mine, one of the most important herring importers in Holland, invited me to accompany him as a photographer during the herring campaigne of 2015. We stayed in the small village of Kalvag on the Norwegian coast and on one evening I shot this image at about 11.00 o’clock. (It doesnot get completely dark over there at night.)
I like this image particularly. The only thing that bothers me is the lighthouse that seems to be a little out of focus. I cannot understand why, because it was at least half a kilometre away from where I was standing and focus was on infinity. The temperature was about 6 degrees Celsius so it cannot be caused by high temperatures.
It is still a mystery to me.

Re: Norway & Denmark visit...
It seems like all my images until now were like a little out of focus. I use another way to show them on this website and I am curious if it is better now.
A spectacular scene in Denmark; it looks like an old Dutch master painting, but very little was added in post processing. Just a little levels have been adjusted.
