This location is only 1/2 a mile from my home but this is the first time this year I have felt well enough to walk that far.
The picture is nothing special but I cannot decide how to crop it for best effect. Perhaps someone could suggest?

Re: How to Crop?
I don't see too many reasons nor ways to crop, it's a nice picture as it is...
Passioned by beautiful pictures, not a very active photographer though...
Regards,
Vincent
PS I use google translate a lot to write better English. So, if mistake, I's google, not me.

Re: How to Crop?
indeed there is no real need to crop this one, but if you feel you should, I would keep the width and take half the blue part of the sky at the top
it may give more width to the landscape with the changed aspect ratio

Re: How to Crop?
Thanks both of you for your comments. Sometime ago I got stuck on one particular aspect ratio for my prints and consequently have a lot of mats in that size. It's slightly less wide than the full frame but I couldn't see how I could crop this one to match it because, like you, I think it looks right to begin with.

For a long time I too had my mind set on a specific aspect ratio, and didn't like to divert from it,
but lately I try others, even random without looking at the numbers, just to find out what's best for a certain picture,
sometimes with more satisfying results.
