Excellent!.....how ever did we get pics before the arrival of the high iso kings? Its amazing performance from the D3s but I'm greedy I'd still like more:-) I'm looking forward to testing the 1d mkiv shortly as although I shoot mainly with nikons these days I'm a canon man at heart:-) Have a good weekend.

Technical evolution is going soo fast... A camera that costed 1500 euros 5 years ago is worth nothing anymore if you compare with todays possibilities...
Congratulations with your fantastic photo of your cute little daugter.

That's amazing Rudy, did you do any post processing to get that result?

Hello James,
Only sharpening, nothing else. It´s really amazing how the black parts really stay black, without any noise at this high ISO.
Greetings,
Rudy

That's incredible - that beast must be awesome for motorsports - it would be like carrying a huge flash around with you that doesn't put the riders off!
What do I need to go without to get one......
How do you find it at lower ISO? Is it any different to the normal D3/D700?

Hello James,
I did the test on ISO 200 with the D3x, and there is no difference. Of course the D3x has more pixels, but in normal format there is no difference. Later I will post the pictures.

Rudy
