Hi Stany nice to meet Rita I avoid pop up flashes and direct flash from strobes like the plague if I can....they always leave harsh shadows that are not complimentary. With an on camera flash I normally bounce of a wall or ceiling or reverse bounce even. In any case its always nice to capture pics of those closest to us however you do it....I get all shot out sometimes and dont pick a camera up for pleasure for myself as they are just work things. However I'm just in the process of treating myself to a new MF film camera for pleasure shooting and I'm really looking forward to getting it and shooting for me.
