Going the heavy PP route ...

Somehow I grew tired of those black, white or grey backdrops ;)

I like nearly unprocessed pictures much better, photoshop makes photography irrelevant.
You can start from a picture, photoshop heavy, you finally get a bad painting...
You can start from nothing and draw anything, photoshop heavy, you finally get a bad painting as well...
Your portraits in another topic here were fantastic: http://www.fotografie.fr/fotoforum/view ... f=50&t=548

Tastes definitely differ ;) And none of the images I ever show on the internet are unprocessed either, I must admit. I am a retoucher doing photography actually.

I love to vary my images, sometimes weeks after they were taken. When you´re in the studio with a model (either for pay or non-pay), you usually don´t get a second chance. The lighting you chose, the looks you got, is what you get. So I don´t like exotic set ups and don´t vary much. In post I have lots of possibilities to change that.

Plus: if you really want to sell your images, you´ll have to go by taste. Mind you, the series of glamour shots I showed were not well accepted! It´s pp like this that will draw costumers:
