Hello everyone. I haven't posted a lot lately, but I do stop by now and again. I wanted to share some of my recent portrait work with you to see if you think I've improved from my previous work. I think the improvement is like night and day, but I still wanted to share and get your opinions.

Thanks for looking and comments are welcome.

Chris

Very nice portraiture, some really good ones.
I would photoshop the transpiration spot on the musician shirt in the last image. Hope you don't mind this remarq... :?

There are some striking portraits in this bunch.
But just positive critiques won't help you any further; that is why I place some general remarks.
Especially in the first two images your light is too high, That makes the eyes too dark and there is no catchleight in the eyes.
You photograph woman almost full frontal; that makes them broader than they would be if you used a three quarter pose.
Just try to place a little light -or backlit your models- on the background to separate them from the background.

Hope this helps.
