D700 B&W musician

Post by ChrisBergstrom »

I'd like to see what you all think of this photo? I personally love it, but was wondering if my sense of what's good is up to your standards? I have exif/metadata if anyone is interested on my Flickr site. Thanks for looking and I look forward to your comments...

Thanks, Chris

I like the exposure and the composition and I really think that the lights are adding something, giving a kind of balance to the composition. Well done.

Thanks Guy!I always try and look at things with a Japanese asthetic eye. The Japanese have at least one rule that says isoscoles triangles are better than perfect triangles and that elements of 3 are better than 4, since the number four means death in Japan.I thought the lights were a good addition and so I composed the shot to include them. Thank you for your comments and time looking at this photo!

Here are a few more from the same gig. The first one is my favorite, but you can judge for yourselves. I hope you enjoy my work.
