70-200VR (first edition) results - Thank you Stany

Post by James »

Hey guys,

I made use of the fact that M Buyle was upgrading to the VRII and bought his first edition 70-200, after a few days waiting for UPS to realise that they could actually deliver it I received the lens this week and got to play with some test shots this evening.

I am incredibly impressed with this lens already - and I to me it seems sharper than my 105VR @ 105mm when both are wide open, unbelievable!!

Anyway here are a few shots (and crops) all at f2.8 using AF incase anyone is interested - thank you Stany!

And succes with the outstanding 70-200 VRI.
I'm pretty sure that the TCIII will work perfect with the 70-200 VRI as well. This TC is simply and optical miracle. You have to see the results to believe it. It leaves no visible downgrade in IQ. Not with the 70-200VRII, not with the 105VR. :D
kindest regards,

Stany
