From PhotoKina2010-D7000 (very-)high iso samples

Post by Stany Buyle »

:!: :!: These early D7000 (very-) high iso samples need some explanation:
There seems to be a bug in the exif file info when looking to the images in Nikon View (2) or Capture NX. While it shows iso 6400 setting, in H1 and H2 it shows "1EV over 1600" and "2EV over 1600", which should be "1EV over 6400" and "2EV over 6400"

The samples taken at the Nikon booth at PhotoKina with a 300mm AF-S F4 lens.

The conditions these pictures were taken in during the opening hours of the Photokina show on thuesday were far from perfect: The 300 AF-S did not have the sun cap and the people from the booth did not know yet how to set the AF (which was on auto what I don't like).
I went back a couple of hours later and could take better samples with the 16-85 VR which you can see here: http://www.fotografie.fr/fotoforum/view ... f=54&t=917
