Where would you want your party at?

Here's the scenario:

You are given a whole bunch of really nice, high-end, creatively designed chairs & tables to use, and a paid-for party or two to go along with them. The chairs are of various types: lounge chairs; tall standing chairs; small, simple chairs; etc. They're colorful & unique. They're what you'd want in your upscale apartment or house.

And there's some tables to go along with them: coffee tables; small sized serving tables; tall, stand-at tables; etc. All of which are uniquely designed.

The thing is, you're handed $10,000 US/Euros to throw a catered party or two for your friends and/or colleagues. And for use at your party, you're given these unique tables & chairs to make full use of. A whole truck full of them if you want. Or, just a few, if you prefer to keep your party small & intimate. It's up to you. If you'd like to have two or three parties: for both a lot of your friends, as well as for just a few of them - by all means. But you'll of course want to make use of this really unique furniture to impress your gests.

I, a professional photographer, will come along with the furniture & catered food. I'm wanting to photo you & your friends & colleagues having a really good time.

The Question:
Where is it that you are to have your uniquely catered party? -or-
What variety of places would you like to hold a unique series of this type of event?

For example:
Might it be in a nice barn?
Or in a pretty field?
A cleaned-up pasture?
Or a vineyard, perhaps?
In a large, old vacant house or castle?
Alongside a train station, maybe?
Inside a nice airplane hangar?
Inside a small museum?
A large one?
How about a refurbished, old industrial building?
Or vacant church?
On a golf course?
In a really nice clubhouse?
In a real functioning factory?
In a cave?
On an amphitheater’s concert stage?
On a beach?
Or along a river?
What about on a soccer/football field?
Or in a city's park?

Where?
Where do you want to hold your party or series of different parties?
What place is it that you'd want your friends & colleagues to get together at & socialize with you?

Open Talk was really missing in our "photography friends club"

Keep posting.

In a fancy photo studio loft. People are crazy about that.

Hey Marc, welcome to the forum.

Yes. I was searching for an "Open Topics" category, though couldn't find such, so I posted here. Then, when I came back, I saw "Open Topics" (or whatever you named it). I then thought to myself, "What an *! Why didn't I post this there?" I felt really badly & threw a shoe at my dog... :-)

EDIT: How do I go about posting this under Stany's message? Can this be done? How does it work that I respond to what Stany had written? Thanks y'all.

EDIT #2: I see that my word, "i-d-i-o-t," which nicely described me above was replaced with an ' * '. Whoops. I guess I'm in need of washing my mouth out with soap... :-)

Okay Ray, I'll buy in part what you say. However, keep in mind that people might become bothered by the continuous coldness of the atmosphere of an ice rink. I would like to take your suggestion, and twist it a little bit though, to say: roller rink, as in indoor roller skating & inline skating rink - with an oak wood floor. We'd need to be careful to not spill any drinks or food on it, or scratch the floor with the furniture.

I like your suggestion very much. Thanks.

Hey Marc, welcome to the forum.
Like yours ??? :-)

I'll chalk this up as being similar to a remodeled, old style loft type of building, converted into a nice studio of some sort from a previous industrial type of application. Perhaps with old, hardwood floors and brick walls. Sounds yummy!!!

Thanks Ms. Pam.

Like my little studio, only bigger, I have stairs leading up to the roof for the smokers. It will probably hold 10 people ;)
Nowadays, people flock to all those workshops with some portrait setups, a make up stylist. They´ll even want to shoot each other.
