The moon with D810 and tamron 150-600, straight out of the camera...
Taken today, late afternoon, on tripod, LV, 600mm, iso 200, F8, spot* metering.
captured as jpeg and cropped(normally I shoot RAW). Uploaded to my server as it came from my SD card, converted to B&W without any further post processing.

I'm happy with the sharpness this copy of the tamron 150-600 provides. My first copy was not OK but ArtenCraft took it back and they send it to Tamron for exchange.
Thanks Kristof! :D

About spot* metering...

I tried highlight-weighted metering for this shot but probably it only works with Nikon lenses. I will ask to a Nikon representative about that.

From the Nikon website:
•Highlight-weighted: Available with type G, E and D lenses (equivalent to center-weighted when other lenses are used)
