Sunset!

Ever wondered why you can see wonderful sunset images on the web, but your own images never turned out so saturated and even?
That´s why the contrast between sky and landscape are a stretch for any digital sensor. But there is hope, you can easily adjust that in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements.

Here you can download the Photoshop document to analyse it, (you can adjust the curves level, if you´d like to lighten up the whole image):

If you don´t know what to do with the curves level, you can look at the histogram, do you see a hidden curve there?
Here is a possible curve to fit that histogram. It works in many cases and it´s always worth a try!
