Do you shoot jpeg or RAW, and why...

Do you shoot jpeg or RAW, and why...
Do you shoot RAW because you are insecure about WB settings, metering and light? A second chance?
Do you shoot RAW because of the extended poss. in DR and PP?

...or are you just as sure about yourself as Ken Rockwell and shoot exclusively jpeg or even TIFF? ;)

Thanks for your input on this topic.

Greetings,
Diederik.

I exclusively shoot RAW, even in a controlled studio where my lighting is exacty the way I want it to be. Being able to finetune both the lighting and the colours for me is essential and a RAW file allows me such thing. Moreover, burning and dodging locallly is often essential to my work as a portrait photographer. The same skills apply to the landscape images outside my daily practice. I select the keepers and adjust them as much as I want. So, no JPEG's for me, as long as I can remember.
