When you go out and shoot, do you put your cam on high speed and just shoot away hoping to have a good one among them or do you carefully prepare composition and the right moment in single shot mode?
What is your keepers rate? How you you select the "keepers"? How do you store them?

Re: What is your keepers- rate?
Good question. I don´t machine gun when shooting. But I think I have about 5 keepers in 200 images.
That usually changes when I review the images some weeks later ... but in the end, it is about 5 images I will spend some time retouching.
I use Lightroom 3 and for each shooting I have a catalog, for each topic like "family feasts 2011" I use a catalog and then I just choose the images I like and don´t bother deleting as I store on large hard drives and my time is more expensive than storage room.
