Article on Camera Support... your opinions on the topic.
I've written an artcle on some thoughts related to camera support and stabilization that I would offer up for comment.
Particularly, I would like to know where it is that people fall on the subject of how much camera support they use in different situations.

I'm really glad you appreciated the post. I had hoped to stimulate a dicussion of stabilization"tricks" that people use.

i do fully agree with the things you wrote. But there is one extra point I would like to add. It allows you usually to rethink the way you were inclined to do the shot. A more careful considering usually improves ones shot considerably.
That is the reason why I always use a sturdy column in the studio. Not camerashake, but careful considering the framing of my subjects and a better composition.

It is pretty hard to explain if english isnot your first language.
I mean a vertical column with three weels at the bottom end and you move your camera (in fact two cameras) along the column up and down. I hope this makes it clear?

I knew english was not your native tongue. Glad you keep trying though.
I would suspect that you might have been describing a installled system in you studio.
