Hello,
I would like to take this opportunity and introduce myself, I am an Austrian born photographer and currently live in NYC. My main interests are photography of course, but lately I have discovered video and started shooting short clips with the Nikon D90 during my photo shoots. You can check them out http://www.mikekobal.com/blog (the blog is dedicated to the video clips) and let me know what you think of them. Since video is very new for me I would like to hear comments, critiques about what should be improved in the future, what you like and what you don't like.
cheers,
Mike

Welcome Mike, saw your movies you made with the D90 on DPreview already under "pretty girl". Very nice work. Thanks for joining our yound forum.
I would like very much to see something like a little "review" by you about the D90 video mode, I'm really curious about that and I'm looking foreward to see video mode in a D700 successor...

Hello Mike...
Welcome here.
Nice movie. How does it compare with a "real" video camera? I would like to get a basic video camera for our daughther's activities like piano and tennis...
It has to be very simple to work with though. Actually I "film" with my Fuji F10, very basical but fun and nice memories...
Thanks and greetings,
