can you tell us about your equipment and the patience you must have to get such pictures with moving animals?
everything is frozen, you use very fast shuttertimes, sometimes I love to see some mouvements in such pictures, she said a little jealous.
perfect pictures and the places of the anaimals are choosen very well and make this photo's not only registrations.

thanks for the nice comments! I could write a book on all the techniques I use for bird imaging, but I have so much to learn before I do.

There is no really magic to it, just practice and tenacity.

I use the D300 and 200-400 VR for most of my shooting. please feel free to browse almost 4000 images on my website, and the techs are noted below each image. Unfortunatey, many people get too caught up in the specifics of equipment, and setting... it is about timing, point of view, light, and creativity.
