D3 vs D3X
by Dr. Rudy Dusslier and Stany Buyle

Lowlight images
X
I thought it might be interesting to see how D3x behaves in comparison with D3 about noise @ different iso settings in a  low light situation with crops of the bright and the shadow areas.

These pictures were on purpose a little bit overexposed while using matrix which gives a positive effect in relation to noise @ high iso.

The scene:

5

*24-70 @ F7.1
*Original in camera settings: matrix, RAW, neutral, sharpness 1, noise reduction OFF
*Converted to tiff and resized, converted to jpeg.
