In verband met de hogere fps met een battery-pack: mijn D800 wordt daarmee ook sneller. Voor zover ik weet, geldt dit niet voor de D500 ?

Jouw stuk over de D810 + D500 is super. Gedurfd, waardevol en professioneel. Elke camera blijft inderdaad een compromis en achter sterke punten schuilen soms nadelen. Bedankt om dit alles uit de doeken te doen.

Hi all, Here underneath an image with my (new)D800 + TC2III + 200-400mm VR1. Autofocus was working acceptable fast in cloudy weather. Image was taken at iso 6400 . Nice pictures. I am puzzled by your conclusion "Surprising sharpness and detail on D800, significantly less attractive on a D4(I tried this combo)". Have you an idea of the (possible) cause ?

Dear all, I am puzzled about the cutoff in terms of apertures (F5.6 vs F8 in the discussion on D3/D3s/D3x vs D4). I would expect that the amount of light would also play whether a camera can handle F8 lenses.
