One tip while using the nikon 180-600
After one year with this lens, and the much-appreciated advice of a Nikon technician in relation to shooting handheld with the Nikon 180-600, I put VR on "SPORT".
Since that advice, I ONLY use the VR SPORT setting.

From this morning, a dragonfly-in-flight with my R5 & RF 100-400/5.6-8.0 IS. Shooting conditions were optimal. Sunny, no wind so I could go for a slower shutter speed than I normally use for dragonflies-in-flight. Slow shutter speed shows wing motion, what I like better than "frozen" ...

I did the update from 1.5.2 --> 1.6 and everything went well. I made my download from the Canon UK website as I always do.
2 weeks and a couple of hundred pictures later I encountered no issues.
