Re: A sample situation why I moved from Nikon Z to Canon EOS R5...
Every time again my R5, even coupled with the F11 800mm, is ready to capture totally unexpected situations, like my beloved nikon D500 did. This in big contrast was my nightmare with Nikon Z6 & Z7. I missed soooo many shots like these because of the poor Z6 & Z7 AF performance with unexpect...

Owl in flight in local parc (EOS R5 + RF 800mm F11)
An owl in our local parc. Totally unexpected and captured handheld. The image isn't sharp enough to my taste but it's OK. Hidden in the high grass, I didn't have a 100% clear view either... 1/3200 sec would have given a better result. Tomorroww I'll go back with a tripod... The RF 800mm F11 is an a...

Re: Mirrorless vs DSLR : SIX reasons I prefer mirrorless cam
What were your reasons to move from Nikon F (D850+ D500 + D4) to Nikon Z6 & Z7 ? Curiosity, high expectations, silent shooting... Those high expectations were followed with slight disappointment about Z's first generation' AF, which wasn't even close to my D500. The disappointment became even b...

Re: Eos R 7 & Eos R10 released
IMHO EOS R7 should be available in 2 versions with diff. card options, (like Nikon did with D5). One version includes a fast CFE card slot for use where the buffer is important and one version with 2 SD slots as it is available now. With a bigger buffer, I would have bought an R7 next to my R5 for ...

Great camera, great specs but I see the buffer as the weak point. IMHO a CFE card would have solved that, at least partly... I hope you can choose the number of fps while using ES...

Does Nikon try to gain market with agressive pricing?
After comparing the newest -ML- fast long teles from both Canon and Nikon, I nearly fell off my chair... The Canon RF 800/5.6 L IS USM is priced at € 19949 while the Nikon Z 800/6.3 VR S is set @ € 7299 a half-stop faster cannot justify an x2,7 times price difference... Is Nikon's aggressive price ...
