April 20, 2021 Product information
Thank you very much for using Nikon products.

The Nikon Z 7II and Nikon Z 6II mirrorless camera firmware Ver.1.20, Nikon Z 7 and Nikon Z 6 firmware Ver.3.30, Nikon Z 5 firmware Ver.1.10 and Nikon Z 50 firmware Ver.2.10 will be released at 3:00 p.m. on April 26.

Firmware Ver.1.20 for the Z 7II and Z 6II improves AF performance. Focusing time is shortened in AF when shooting at low brightness. In addition, when wearing a speedlight, detection performance in scenes where it is difficult to detect the face and eyes, and visibility of the subject in the viewfinder and image monitor have been improved, and the usability when using AF has been improved. In addition, the tracking of the tracking frame of the face, eyes, and target tracking AF is also improved, reducing stress during shooting and realizing more comfortable and stable shooting.

In firmware Ver.3.30 for "Z 6", "voice memo input / playback function" is added*.

In firmware Ver.1.10 for "Z 5", "Low Light AF" improves AF detection speed at low brightness and improves usability.

In addition, "Focus Position Memory", which is popular in the "Z 7II" and "Z 6II" as a function to maintain the focus position even when the camera is turned off and turned on again after focusing, is also supported by the latest firmware of "Z 7", "Z 6", "Z 5", and "Z 50".

Voice memo input / playback function will be added to "Z 6II" in a future firmware update.
Nikon will continue to flexibly respond to changing user needs and provide video experiences that stimulate customers' creativity.
