Nikon Co., Ltd. (President: Toshikazu Madate, Minato-ku, Tokyo) is developing the NIKKER Z 28mm f/2.8 and NICKOR Z 40mm f/2, compact and lightweight single-focus lenses for full-size (Nikon FX format) mirrorless cameras using the Nikon Z Mount. It is aimed at release by the end of 2021.
"NIKKER Z 28mm f/2.8" is a wide-angle monofoss lens suitable for everyday snap shooting, and "NIKKER Z 40mm f/2" is a standard monofoss lens that can easily enjoy expression utilizing bokeh, and we are developing both sharply. It is a compact and lightweight single-focus lens that can be used casually by a wide range of users, including those who are using mirrorless cameras for the first time, and that are active in various everyday shooting scenes.
Nikon will continue to pursue a new dimension of optical performance to meet the needs of users. In addition, we aim to further expand the possibilities of video expression and contribute to the development of video culture.
